Well it's July and things have finally mellowed out a little bit at home. So, I am back out playing, but nowhere near the amount I would like, or even as much as last year. The reason is because of all these family issues, I had to turn down dates way back when I was being asked to play, and the calendars fill up fast at all the places I play, I wasn't sure how long I was going to need, so I laid low until April to give myself the time I needed to take care of some situations. So that's that. I am not saying I don't have things booked, I do and more pop up from time to time, but I find myself with a lot more holes in the calendar than I would like. Feel free to contact me if you would like me to accompany you in your duo or band situation. I might be available!
In the meantime, I am spending a lot of time working on actual guitar technique and trying to learn new things and perspectives on music. I haven't been afforded this much time to practice in over 20 years, and I am happy to do it. There is always something more to learn. As they say, the more you know, the less you know. Music is a giant, unscalable iceberg, and the journey will always be better than the destination.
That's all for now, stay cool folks.
