Most people who know of me, know me through music and playing guitar for 37 years in blues, rock, and jazz genres around the tri state area. I am in my late forties now, and feel I am playing my absolute best, having had neck surgery in 2018, and double Carpal Tunnel surgeries in 2020 when the whole world wasn't gigging. It also feels like I have surpassed my 10,000 hours and have finally reached a point where I don't have to worry about my brain keeping me from playing what I want!
Over the years I have been involved in some incredible projects, and have met and played with even more incredible musicians. Though I am incredibly proud of those things, I don't dwell on the past, or cling to past accomplishments and prefer to look forward. Still as I sit here trying to remember everyone and everything I can't help but smile in awe.
Here are some of the musicians and bands that come to mind that I have performed with musically and impacted my life:
- Jaimoe, Otiel Burbridge, and Jack Pearson from the Allman Brothers Band
- The James Montgomery Blues Band
- Sean Hurley of Vertical Horizon and John Mayer fame
- Mike Gordon, Phish bassist
- The Pat Mcgee Band
- The Tom Tom Club
- Ed Mann, percussionist for Frank Zappa
- Jonathan Edwards
- CT legends Jeff Pevar, Chris Tofield, Burt Teague, Tim McDonald, Matt Zeiner, André Balazs, Frank Varela, Doug Wimbish, and Max Creek.
