The end of 2024

Well I am happy to see this year come to a close. I plan on being much busier next year. I had fun on the gigs I was able to do. Most of the hardships are behind me for now I hope. I am going to ask Santa for a looper this year. I have never even used one let alone own one. I would like to be able to some shows on my own, and I have to work that out. I've been an ensemble player my whole life, dedicating myself to serving other people's music, so it's a whole other mindframe unfamiliar to me. My biggest hangup is keeping things simple. I rarely stay in one place playing rhythm guitar, and love to play different inversions of chords. It's harder to do that, sing and carry a song by yourself with that approach. I have my work cut out for me for sure. Not to mention that I have been mainly a backup vocalist for years, being too intimidated to be a lead singer. Times are changing and I have to get that going, now or never if I want to work.
